About Wirral Electrics
An electrical brand covering the Wirral peninsula, run as a main contractor, and not yet open for bookings.
Why the banner says bookings are not open
The banner at the top of every page is the most important thing on this site. The pages are finished, the information on them is accurate, and the brand is not taking work yet.
The reason is simple and worth stating rather than hiding. Electrical work in a home is not a trade where you put up a site and start answering the phone. The right person has to be in place first, and until that is settled this site describes what the brand will do rather than what it is doing. You can send an enquiry and it will reach us; we will come back to you when we are open.
Why this site says nothing about credentials
You will notice that nothing here mentions schemes, memberships or paperwork. That is deliberate. Making any such claim before the person doing the work is confirmed would be exactly the sort of thing this estate of brands refuses to do, and it is the easiest claim in the world to make and the hardest for a customer to check.
So the site talks about the work instead: what a job involves, what decides how long it takes and what gets in the way. When there is something true and specific to say on the other subject, it will be said in one place and this paragraph will change.
How the work will be organised
Wirral Electrics takes the job as main contractor and puts the labour on it. One person quotes it, one person is answerable for it, and you are not chasing two numbers to find out who is coming.
What you get is a written scope, a date, and somebody whose problem it is if the date moves.
What we will tell you is not ours
The service cable into the house, the cutout and the meter belong to the network operator and your energy supplier. Gate automation, alarm monitoring and anything behind a sealed appliance are other people's work. All of those come up on electrical enquiries and we would rather name the right party than improvise.
No photographs of our work, and why the site says so
There are no job photographs on this site. The slots are placeholders and they are labelled as placeholders. Nothing is a stock picture presented as a job and nothing is borrowed.
The same goes for anything that looks like a customer quote. There is a section built and ready, switched off, and it stays that way until there are real ones with permission attached.
How a job runs
- 1You send the details
What you want doing, roughly how old the house is, and a photo of the consumer unit if you can get one.
- 2We come and look
What is already installed decides most of the work, and the only way to know is to look behind a socket front and at the board.
- 3You get it in writing
What is being done, what has to be established first, how long it takes and what would change it.
- 4The work, then the making good
Floors and furniture covered first. Where walls had to be chased, what state they are left in is agreed before anybody starts.
Tell us what the job is
A photo of the consumer unit and a note of roughly when the house was last worked on tells us most of what we need.
Get in touch
Tell us what the job is and roughly how old the house is. A photograph of the consumer unit and of the inside of a socket front answers more than any description.
